Throughout 2020 Dan acted as co-Project Manager on the ‘Tales of Derby Women Past’ Project with She Speaks UK. The Project commissioned six spoken word artists from Derby and Derbyshire to create new poems highlighting some of the untold stories of Women throughout Derby’s history.
Tales of Derby Women Past was commissioned as part of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site Great Places Scheme, funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund and Arts Council England, produced by Beam.
The Project was launched as part of the Derwent Valley Mills Discover Days Festival in October 2020, the project was filmed and edited by Laura Foulds Moody.
