Whispers From The Woods is a poetry and nature project produced by Melbourne Festival and Arts Melbourne, made possible with funding from The National Forest.
The project, which has seen the creation of a poetry nature trail, inspired by the thoughts and experiences of young people connecting and reconnecting with Nature during and after Coronavirus Lockdown, made it’s debut at Timber Festival 2nd to 4th July 2021. As part of the exhibition, Dan also performed a 30 minute set, including the finished poem and work from ‘Genre Fluid’ at Timber Festival on Sunday 4th July.
In addition to the nature trail, which will be installed in and around Melbourne later this year, a ‘touring’ set of the work has been created, which will showcase the work at cultural locations across Derby and South Derbyshire throughout Summer 2021.
